Are You Making the Most of Your Membership?

Since 1879, our Members have relied on our trusted financial solutions to provide security for their future, plus a range of benefits that go beyond a life insurance policy for Veterans, spouses, and dependents — from compassionate survivor assistance to Digital Vault storage for essential documents, and more. As an Armed Forces Mutual Member, it’s important to take advantage of everything available to you to ensure you and your family continue to thrive with peace of mind, no matter what the years ahead may bring.

Survivor Assistance Services

Our Survivor Assistance Services are our hallmark service that support Member families. Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of survivors prepare their life insurance claims, send notifications to Defense Finance and Accounting Services (DFAS) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and file for survivor benefits from those agencies. This benefit is one of the reasons so many of our Members keep their policies active with us until they pass. They want not only the financial security that life insurance provides for their families, but also the peace of mind that comes from knowing their survivors will receive personalized, knowledgeable assistance from an experienced team.
