AAFMAA Recognized as a V3 Certified Employer


We are pleased to announce that AAFMAA has been recognized by the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program as a V3 certified employer.  V3 is a Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) program that aims to assist Virginia companies in implementing best practices in recruiting, hiring, and retaining Veterans.  

“AAFMAA was founded for the military community by the military community, so we know the value Veterans bring to the workforce firsthand. We are excited to be part of the V3 program and continue our legacy of supporting the Veteran community through our hiring practices,” said Tiana Fallavollita, Vice President, Human Resources. 

V3 certification also grants us access to resources that will strengthen our relationship with the Veteran workforce, such as connection to military job seekers through the Virginia Transition Assistance Program and teaming opportunities with other V3 employers. 

“AAFMAA’s mission has always been to give back to those who have served our country, and providing them with fulfilling jobs after they transition out of the service is just another way to do that,” stated BG Mike Meese (USA, Ret.), President.  “Employing veterans on our staff really helps as we provide life insurance, wealth management, and mortgages exclusively for military, veterans, and their families.”   

Currently, 34% of AAFMAA employees are Veterans or are military family members.
