If you're a servicemember with a lot of debt to pay off, you're not alone.

In fact, a recent survey found that 27% of servicemembers had more than $10,000 in credit card debt, compared to just 16% of civilians. Add that to the fact that the unemployment rate among military spouses is roughly 26%, and you can understand how so many military families can feel overwhelmed when faced with debts that continue to accrue interest.

But, there is hope and a path forward through financial education.
