Vice President, Business Development
Jay Shivar is the Vice President of Business Development for AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWM&T). He oversees the Growth, Financial Planning, and Relationship Management Teams from his office in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Jay joined AWM&T in 2022, after over 18 years of serving clients as a financial advisor. Most recently, he served clients as the founder of a successful financial planning practice. In his current role as Vice President of Business Development, Jay works to help ensure the financial security and independence of the American Armed Forces community. He is honored to be a part of AWM&T, the premier provider of financial planning, investment management, and trust services to the military community.
Jay is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force. He holds a Master of Science degree in management and a Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
