Monica Lopez joined Armed Forces Mutual in 2021 as a Senior Accountant and currently serves as Assistant Controller. In her role, she oversees day-to-day accounting activities and supports the Controller with various aspects of financial management. Monica is originally from Colombia and holds a bachelor’s degree in international business. She also holds an Associate of Applied Science and Professional Certification in Accounting from Northern Virginia Community College. Monica has over seven years of experience and worked in various accounting roles within the hospitality and construction industries prior to joining Armed Forces Mutual.
