This program offers a one-time only $5,000 loan at 1.5% Annual Percentage Rate with a 48-month repayment schedule through the military allotment system. There is no penalty for early repayment. To qualify, you must be an AAFMAA member with $250,000 of term or $50,000 of Value-Added Whole Life insurance, on active duty, and be able to initiate a government allotment.
